Killers of the Flower Moon is a historical drama directed by Martin Scorsese and based on the book by David Grann. The movie tells the true story of the Osage murders, a series of brutal crimes that targeted the wealthy members of the Osage Nation in Oklahoma in the 1920s. The movie stars Leonardo DiCaprio as Ernest Burkhart, a white settler who marries Mollie (Lily Gladstone), an Osage woman, as part of a sinister plot orchestrated by his uncle William Hale (Robert De Niro) to gain access to the oil-rich land of the Osage. The movie also features Jesse Plemons as Tom White, an FBI agent who investigates the murders, and Brendan Fraser as W.S. Hamilton, a businessman who exploits the Osage. The movie explores themes of greed, racism, corruption, and love in a dark and violent chapter of American history.
