On Friday we had the opportunity to visit the Bayer headquarter in Leverkusen, one of the largest pharmaceutical and agricultural companies in the world. In a guided tour we learned a lot about the history of Bayer, the challenges that such a big company faces today and how new products reach the international market. The highlight of the tour was the possibility to interactively follow the development of new products, eg. using VR glasses or custom made suits to feel like an old man / woman.
