September 25: City tour for the anniversary – the Uni-Arboretum

The arboretum is the tree garden at the Grifflenberg campus, a particularly literary place. There are over 100 species of trees to see on the campus grounds. Almost all of Germany’s important species are represented, as well as numerous tree species that are used as park or street trees.

On the guided tour “Journey into the world of trees: the university arboretum” you can learn what makes the trees tick. Botanical and literary aspects will be included in the tour.

Meeting point: 14.00 Campus Grifflenberg, Gaußstraße 20, next to the main entrance (building G), at the stairs to the library (sign: “Start Uni-Arboretum”)
End: approx. 15.30 at the meeting point

Tickets are available at Wuppertal Touristik, Alte Freiheit 23, phone 0202/563-2180 and -2270 as well as online for the guided tour “Journey into the world of trees: the university arboretum” here.
