On Saturday, April 16, we will take you on the long-awaited stadium tour to the VELTINS-Arena in Gelsenkirchen – the legendary stadium of FC Schalke 04!
With 80,000 seats, the stadium is one of the largest and most modern stadiums in Germany, if not in Europe. The architectural marvel is bursting with technical highlights. For example, it has a “mobile turf” as a special feature and a variable stadium roof that can be opened and closed. The size alone is impressive, and the technology even more so! You should not miss this trip.
Registration:
For optimal planning, we need your prior registration by Thursday, April 14. The best way to do this is via our social media channels on Instagram and Facebook.
Schedule:
We will meet at the main station in Wuppertal-Elberfeld on Saturday, 16 April at 1pm. (Please be on time and don’t forget your semester ticket and a mask!).
As it is supposed to be very sunny and warm on this day, don’t forget to bring enough to drink and maybe something to eat.
The journey takes about 1 hour 15 minutes.
The arena tour itself lasts about 75 minutes and is led by trained stadium guides. Admission also includes access to the Schalke Museum.
