Langer Tisch

On June 29, 2024, we invite all of Wuppertal to celebrate the city’s 95th birthday together at the Long Table. Companies, clubs, every Wuppertal resident are invited to help set the table, play on the streets and squares, prepare a program and give this city its most beautiful face.

The celebration will take place from 4 p.m. to 4 a.m. on the three-kilometer route between the Haspel vocational college and the Old Market.

The Long Table has become a tradition that has existed for 35 years. The major event is a symbol of how the city has grown together since 1929. Since then, the Barmer, Cronenberg, Elberfeld, Heckinghauser, Langerfeld-Beyenburg, Oberbarmer, Ronsdorfer, Uellendahl-Katernberger and Vohwinkel residents have been inseparably linked – and celebrate themselves and their city with pride and joy at the Long Table.
