On November 24th we visited the K21 (Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen) in Düsseldorf.
The former Ständehaus (Parliament building) in the Neo-renaissance style was converted into a functional and striking museum which includes the large piazza of the interior courtyard and the spectacular space set beneath the enormous glass cupola.
The K21 museum forges ahead into the 21st century with a focus on international contemporary art. This venue presents its extensive collection – which begins with the late-1970s and continues up to the present, and includes numerous artist’s rooms as well as film and video installations – on five different levels.
Thanks for coming guys!
